A stain is caused quickly. The quicker the stain is treated, the greater the chance of complete removal.
Always soak up liquids and stains immediately with an absorbent cloth or household paper.
Remove solid residues as completely as possible with a spoon or the back of a knife. Immediately place a dampened kitchen cloth on the stain. Replace the soaked cloth with a clean, moistened kitchen towel or household paper. Repeat the process until the stain no longer stains.
